• WORD COUNT Stop the World does have a word count, this word count is about 200 words per-post. I will not be picky about this, however if you come nowhere close to the word count then I will ask you to add to your post.
  
  
• CHARACTERS Original Characters are allowed as long as they are a real country (no cities, states, provinces, or military forts) There are countries that exist that haven't been explored yet, because of the plot you may create a country that has yet to be explored, but please don't make up your own country.
  
  
• GOD-MODDING This is absolutely not allowed! Do not try to control a character it isn't fair and it causes people to become upset.
  
  
• ACTIVITY You are expected to be active, this means being online and posting a few times a week, if you are unable to be active for an extended amount of time then post in the Hiatus board.
  
  
• RESERVING CHARACTERS You may reserve up to three characters. This does not mean reserving two characters at once. Please put some time between reserving characters, this means completing your first application AND placing your character in an active thread. The three character limit does not mean three major characters, do not try to reserve more then two major characters, if these two characters must interact with one another then you will not be allowed to reserve one of them.
  
  
• CURSING It happens, so why would I not allow it in your posts? Do not abuse this though, I do not want to see a curse word where it isn't needed, example: Every other word someone is using vulgar language. Do not do this.
  
  
• VULGARITY This means, no sex. I do not want to open a thread and read something I don't want to read.
  
  
• PROFILES Display names must be it CAPITAL LETTERS and of the countries name, not their human name. Signatures and icons must be of your character and there will only be ONE character per-account.
  
  
• MURDER While you are allowed to fight till your heart's content, do not murder another character.
  
  
• CHANGING HISTORY The year is 1741 and the plot says things are changing, you are allowed to change history, however events prior to 1741 happened just the way they did in the history books. You may change historical events in the year 1741 and the years after that.
  
  
• RESPECT Respect other members, administration, and guests as well. Everyone is welcome at "Stop the World" so do not pick on someone.
  
  
• CHATBOX There is an OOC chat box as well as an IC chat box, please do not confuse the two. Please keep things on the chatbox PG-13, if I see anything vulgar then I will ask you to stop or move your RPing to PM. Also, do not advertise on the chatbox. It is annoying and if I see it I will delete the entry.
  
  
• FACE CLAIMS Since some characters do not have a face claim you may either find a face claim or you may choose not to have one.
  
  
• ADVERTISING All advertising is allowed, please post in the correct board and DO NOT post your advertisement anywhere except the advertisement board found in the "General" category.
